The JIRA plugin will generate a forecast of completion dates for every issue in your project. The forecasted dates are broken into 4 confidence levels, from highest (99%) to low (50%). The confidence levels indicate the rough odds that a given issue will completed on the listed date.
Reports are generated in the background, so it may take a few minutes to generate the first report. New report generation is triggered every 30 minutes if there isn’t an “up to date” report available for a project.
Filtering Forecast Generation
Forecasts can exclude or include different issue types. For example, you may wish to not use “Tasks” as part of the forecast and instead use just “Stories” and “Bugs”.
These filter options may be turned on and off by using the check boxes. Any changes will be reflected on the next generated report.
